MeetPress | Video Meetings & Bookings for WordPress

MeetPress brings AlphaCall video rooms into WordPress. Put a meeting on any page, let visitors book a slot against your real availability, and MeetPress creates a room for each booking, sends the link with a calendar file and reminds both sides before the start. Coaches, clinics, tutors, communities and support teams get bookable calls without a third-party meeting service.

How Booking Works

1. You define a service: length, buffer, weekly hours, days off, optional price
2. The visitor picks a free slot (shown in their own time zone) and confirms
3. MeetPress creates a room on your AlphaCall server and emails both sides with the .ics
4. Reminders go out 24 h and 1 h before; the join page counts down and opens the room
5. Afterwards you mark attended or no-show

Installation

1. Download the zip from your Library
2. In wp-admin go to Plugins › Add New › Upload Plugin, choose the zip and activate it
3. A new menu entry appears in the admin sidebar; open it
4. MeetPress › Settings: enter your AlphaCall server URL and an API token (AlphaCall › Privacy & security › API tokens), press Test
5. Create a room or a service, then add the block to a page

Requirements

• WordPress 6.0 or newer (tested up to 7.0)
• PHP 8.0 or newer
• An AlphaCall server (call.alphaxp.net or your own AlphaCall install)
• For embedded meetings: your site origin allowed in AlphaCall’s "Embed meetings on" setting
