CodeSell is a complete store for your own software: plugins, themes, scripts, apps, design files. Three licence tiers per product, sale prices buyers can actually read, a cart that takes one payment for everything, six payment gateways, a licence key for every purchase, secure downloads with version history, reviews, VAT by country and PDF invoices. No WooCommerce, no monthly fee.

How a Sale Works
- The buyer picks a tier on the product page and checks out with an account (sign-in, or the AlphaLogin portal button when installed)
- Country and VAT id set the tax; a coupon or an upgrade credit lowers the total; the gateway takes the payment
- CodeSell marks the order paid (return, webhook or hourly re-check), mints a key per item, emails the receipt with download links and the invoice
- The customer area always has fresh download links, every version, the changelog and the invoice; you see it all in Orders and Customers

Installation
- Download the zip from your Library
- In wp-admin go to Plugins › Add New › Upload Plugin, choose the zip and activate it
- A new menu entry appears in the admin sidebar; open it
- CodeSell › Gateways: enable "Bank transfer / manual" or Stripe test keys
- CodeSell › New product: name, tiers, description, images; upload the zip on the Files tab; set it Live
- Open /store/ on your site

Do I need WooCommerce?
No. CodeSell is a complete store on its own: products, cart, checkout, gateways, licences, downloads, invoices and a customer area.
Which gateways?
Stripe Checkout, PayPal, Paddle Billing, Razorpay, Flutterwave and M-Pesa (STK push), plus a manual / bank-transfer method. A filter lets you add your own adapter.
How do licence keys work?
Every paid item gets a signed CS-XXXX key that your product can validate at /wp-json/codesell/v1/validate. Link a product to LicenseGuard to get activations, seats and a private update server instead.
Can buyers download old versions?
Yes. Every uploaded release stays in the customer area with its changelog; download links expire and are regenerated from the account.
How do I get the files after paying?
Straight after checkout you land on your order page with the download button and your licence key. A receipt is emailed to you, and every order stays in My library.
Which licence do I need?
Personal — One non-commercial project. Commercial — Ship paid products. Extended — Resell & white-label. The Licences tab compares them side by side.
On how many devices can I activate it?
1 seat on Personal, 5 seats on Commercial, unlimited seats on Extended.
How long do I get updates?
Personal: 1 year of updates, Commercial: 1 year of updates, Extended: lifetime updates, counted from your purchase.
Can I get a refund?
Yes — paid licences can be refunded within 14 days, straight from your order page.
Is the download safe?
The file was scanned with ClamAV when it was published. Its SHA-256 checksum is listed under Features → In the download, so you can verify the file you receive.
Do I need an account?
No. Checkout only needs your email. Signing in keeps all your purchases, keys and downloads together in My library.
