AudioForge
Import, record, stream, transcode and export audio at runtime - MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG Vorbis, OGG Opus, BINK and raw PCM, fully Blueprint-exposed.
Highlights
All 10 features →AudioForge loads audio at runtime and hands you a sound wave you can play immediately - no cooking step, no reimport, no editor round-trip.
Point it at a file on disk, a byte array you just downloaded, or raw PCM you generated yourself, and it returns a ready-to-play sound wave. Long operations are asynchronous and report progress, so nothing blocks the game thread. Beyond importing, AudioForge records from any available input device, streams audio in progressively while it is already playing, exports back out to file or buffer, transcodes directly between formats, and flags speech boundaries with a built-in voice activity detector.
That covers the cases cooked assets cannot: user-supplied soundtracks, downloaded voice lines, modding support, in-game recording, radio and podcast streams, and procedural audio.
AudioForge is part of the Alpha XP audio collection for Unreal Engine 4.27 and 5.8. Every feature is exposed to both Blueprints and C++, it ships with styled HTML documentation, and it follows one consistent API style across the collection. It is compiled and verified warning-free against clean UE 4.27 and UE 5.8 projects.
